We like difficult problems

With combined programming experience of 17 years and counting, StackThread has experience with everything from Apache to YAML. We enjoy working on taxing problems regardless of whether they involve optimizing a complex MySQL query or analyzing the performance of your table cell view redrawing on iOS.

We strive to write clean, modular, testable software

The StackThread team has extensive experience in creating software spanning a variety of languages, platforms and development methodologies. We realise that no software system is perfect. In fact, this notion is so ingrained that we've built it into our workflow. We write code that's modular, testable, localizable and, consequently, maintainable.

Not just code...

Having seen many enterprise applications succeed and fail, we are experts in full software stack architecture. The StackThread team has architected applications that have replaced vendor systems that cost in excess of $2 million per annum. We also have significant experience of building your client-server model in a way that will maximize maintainability and minimize the cost of improving systems. If you're starting out on a project, why not use our architecture review service to validate the strengths and identify the weaknesses of your plans.

We're flexible

It doesn't matter if you want us to start a project from scratch, get an unwieldy project back on track or have a look at a specific performance bottleneck, we'd be happy to help. Similarly, we're flexible in terms of project organization. We tend to use online collaborative tools such as Skype, Bitbucket, Trello and, of course, trusty old email. These tools not only help us keep projects on track, but also allow you to see how the project's progressing.

We'd like to work with you

If it sounds like we might be able to help with your software project (and we hope that it does!), please don't hesitate to drop us a note. You can reach us anytime at
